Teaching Poetry to Special Education Students...

We have recently started a poetry unit with my high school special education classes. I am so excited. They are loving it. I am not sure if it is the fact that they can't be wrong or the fact that it is shorter than traditional essays, but either way, what a nice experience for them to be successful at something in school. Anyone else had experiences like these?
