Sims 2 for Playstation 2

The Sims2 for Ps2 is way more difficult than the orriginal. In later stages of the game you have to manage multiple people at the same time in order to advance. I personally have a hard time managing all the different players, and am stuck in one particular house. Does anyone else have this problem?
