What do you think about David Beckham coming to play in the U.S.?

I would like to know especially from the U.K. How does the Beckham coming to MLS? Over here in the States the story is being ignored. It's basketball season and baseball is about to begin.I was just wondering how is the press handling the story in the U.K.

I think that he goes to be much nice Beckham to play in the USA because he goes to divulge a little more soccer inside of the country and it he goes to gain much money. Then I think that it made right in going to play the MLS and desire much luck for it!

The press is treating this like a celebrity story, not sports. I don't think very many sports fans have any interest. The sport is still not very big in this country, and Beckham is past his prime as a player.
