If every woman feels the same pain I do, I really have sympathy for you all. I get so sick sometimes I don't even wanna go to school! It's been that way forever. I've never tried Midol. It's out of my budget and I never knew if it worked that great. My home remedies are probably different than other people. I think a hot shower helps. And I was told you're suppose to avoid caffiene, but chocolate and Mountain Dew helps sooooooooooo much. My friends joke with me sometimes, asking if I'm having a Choco-dew week...meaning am I getting my time of month? It really helps. What helps you?

I don't have major problems around that time (thankfully), but every once in awhile I get mild cramps. I find that a bit of raspberry tea helps a lot. There is actually a raspberry based tea that is meant for women. It is suppose to help with menstrual problems.

Going through a menstrual cycle is the only reason I hate being a woman sometimes. My cramps can get really bad, so much so that they will have me crying and doubled over. I use to take Midol and it would help some, but the pain would always return a few moments later. Usually when they become to much for me to handle. I run a warm bubble bath and that helps a lot. I tend to stay away from caffeine anyways, so I don't know what sort of effect that would have on me.
