your beliefs vs. religion

do you believe in god or a higher being?? doesn't it conflict with what your beliefs are. if youre a biologist how do you feel about this?? if you were raised in a religious family and was taught to believe that god exsist and he was the reason for everything.....how do you feel when youre in school and youre teacher tells you otherwise?? ...that the earth didnt happened in 7 days rather.. it was an abundant planet where cyanobacteria was the only thing that lived in it....
