Could swimming help to reduce ' ASTHMA '?!!

'Asthma' is not good..very painfull ... so i want - 'Asthma' is not good..very painfull ... so i want to know abt it...Helpppppppp

I want suggestions because its realyl important to my friends to know it because 2 friends of mine has this desease! So help if you know about it! Or any other way to remove Asthma!
