does helium.com really pays for articles that you write?

i was wondering if anyone of you know about www.helium.com? its another site where you can write articles and get paid. as i went the home page and to the FAQ section i couldnt find clear information on how much they pay for each article, what is the minimum payout limit, how they are going to pay me, whether or not the site is legitimate and how much money could i expect to earn! could you guys enlighten me?
