When I know I hurt someone, I always go and talk to them face to face and I dont wait few days, few weeks to go aplogized. I found out that it best to be honest and tell them sorry right away.

I have always thought that the word 'sorry' is used far too loosely. Toyr actions will speak louder than your words. Look sorry up in the dictionary. You will notice that it is found somewhere between sh*t and sympathy. You need to talk to your girlfriend about what you have done.

I guess it all depends on what you did to her? I would have to know the situation and what your friend is like to give you a good recommendation of what to do to get her to forgive you!

By acting on it, learning from what you have done to hurt her so much and act on it, words can mean very little.
