What I know is the cold sores are caused by some virus. But people connect it to dietary deficiencies I don't understand. What is right between these two?

At times cold sores are caused by virus known as Herpes Simplex Type I . if you are having it, the virus lies dormant in the nerves of skin around the original area until something sets the virus off into another eruption. Colds, flu, and even stress can cause you to have an outbreak at one time of life.cold sores or canker sore are a common form of mouth ulcers . they may occur at any age.the cause is unknown. most out breaks are caused from a low immune system.they can also be triggered by stress, dietary deficiencies, menstrual periods, hormonal change, food allergies, overly worked and overly tired, constipation and ofcourse a low immune system. Research has proven that a strong immune system and a clean colon prevents most cold sores and canker sores too.

When you eat preserved food like, icecream, chocolates, cold drinks, tinfood some times bacteria and fungi have growen in it and when you consume that food bacteria get stucked in the wall of throat that creat sores. You may get fever. So stop eating that kind of food. There is no dietary deficiency,it happens due to bacteria.
