it really depend on child hw they take their parents as burden or as responsibility. in this world u can find every type of ppl. so u can't say it is common or nt.

Depends on situation. however its not normal now a days. instead children have maturity in smaller ages. the time is again changing now , now most of the children are going to respect their parents. maintaining a habit of listening and doing what they think is right. You can say tradition is changing. Misconception are going to be displaced. children attaining age of 13-14 years are going to be involved in family and business discussions. achieving success in every moto of life , enjoying life, studying , respecting their elders. but sometimes situation become harrasable, how often let the things continue.
