I drink diet mountain dew and used to drink two to three a day. I tried to quit all together but since i work nites did not work so well. I love the taste so was hard to reduce to just one a day. I do drink more on the weekends though. Better to drink water i know that. Better to flush your system out with water. Not easy to manage without soda i tried.

I make water as my main beverage. Water flushes out toxins from your body, making you feel healthier and look healthier and younger too! I do not buy any sodas which makes it easier for me not to drink it. If sodas are not in your house, you can't drink it right? Drinking sodas often can affect your kidneys, for example, as well as other parts of your body that includes bones. Kidneys need water to function. When soda affects the kidneys, the kidneys gets dehydrated and will have to seek out the very little water in your body has, making it harder to work. Sodas can help destroy calcium in your body, making you more prone to osteoporosis. If it's hard for you to drink water, squeeze a little lemon or orange in it for more flavor. I drink sodas too but once in a while. If I crave for sodas I will have to go to the store to get it myself. But I only buy 1 can not in bulk.

it's better not to drink soda everyday even if the diet ones 'coz it's using aspartame & its not even good for health ! try to go for fresh fruit juices instead of soda & for the first few days that you'll giving up soda empty your fridge of such things or cut it off in minimal amount as starting with an every other can instead of having it daily then ending up to nothing at all. it's like the way on starting to stop with smoking that there will be the first few days a withdrawal symptoms but if you're really into a specific goal then there's no impossible thing to live healthy life without or just an occasional can of soda !
