how do talent scounts select future NBA superstar? how do they know that they would succeed in the NBA?

Alot of coaches have contact list for talent scouts. If a coach thinks he has a player that would be good enought to make it they will contact the scout. The scout will ask the coach a serise of questions. If the scout is interested the scout will come out to a couple of games and make a decsion.
