big wedding or small wedding?

So my boyfriend and I were talking about weddings.. Him being the more religious one, he wanted to get married in the church. Don't get me wrong.. I do want to get married but I also had dreams of getting married in a garden, in the beach.. anywhere, some place romantic.. A church wedding would be more traditional, i think that would be huge. But another part of me also wants a small intimate wedding somewhere not in the church. He says he wants to marry me in front of God and all our friends and family. I do want that to but I'm torn. Ultimately, it doesn't matter really cause I just want to get married to him but I'm just thinking..
So what would you prefer? Big traditional church wedding or a more intimate wedding somewhere else?

i will like to go for small wedding not for big fancy wedding,why we loose money only to make our wedding to fancy only to show to other people,u can save money for
your future and for children

I would prefer a small intimate wedding somewhere else. If you get married on a beach or in a garden, you're getting married infront of God in His world, and not infront of God in a man-made building. If you get married outside under the sky, you are truly getting married in the presence of God, in my opinion.
