dear friends with the help of rewritable cd you can rewrite by deleting old ones. this is not so costly. it can store anywhere. It can be used many times or infinite times. there is no limitations. you can use it in any computer. when you installing a new operating system in your personal computer you should save all the softwares and datas in this cd copy all these after installation into your computer

I had used CDRW. It's only 600M to 700M only. The best thing for backup for whole system to get DVD writer which capacity at 4G for a piece of DVD. Of course may used to any PC for CDRW. But, if the PC only had CDROM then, it's can read the data. Another option can use is with pen drive which connected to PC through the USB port. That's the practical one. Now days, there is many type and capacity of pen drive starting at 32M up to 1G or 2G. I'm using portable hard disk which capacity for 80G. I can plug it to any PC through the USB port.
