This probably sounds like a cop out but my favourite book was the Angels and Demons by Dan Brown, this is the prequel to Da Vinci Code. I have always been interested in the subject matter such as Masons and the Religion and the Vatican, It was good to see a fiction book being made. Hopefully the film will be out soon as Tom Hanks is in discussions again to play Robert Langdon.

How can I limit it to just one? There are to many best books, that I have read, some of those titles are Mitch Albom's Five People You Meet in Heaven While reading it at times I kept thinking ok get to the point already, at the same time the journey was not sure how to explain it, but it some how touches you, and when you "get to the point" it is like WOW, it changes your perspective of life, gives a new appreciation for people and self. How Much For Just the Planet by John Ford It is scifi, and it is star trek of which I am a fan, John Ford has put characters that you know well, and put them in an absurd situation, at times the book made me laugh so hard I couldn't read what was on the page. A good laugh is a valuable thing. I often over the years would go back to read this book when I needed a laugh. Messengers of Light by Terry Lynn Taylor I was at a low point in my life, this book came into my life with unusual circumstances, it helped me hold on to faith in the good things and some how things seemed to transform for me, was it because of the book not likely was it because the book helped me see things in a different more positive way, very possible. It is to coincidental to not have meaning for me. House of Cards by Peter David, and the series that this introduced, the book was FUN, the series was fun, so it gave me something to look forward with each of the books coming out, and with each one I found something to laugh about, it is a favorite simply because it is fun, and I enjoyed it and the rest of the series. East of Eden by John Steinbech I find Steinbech to be wordy on some of his writings, this book included, but it was journey and it to me had a great message, a message that was meaningful to me, and I have kept the ideal with in myself to this day. Of Mice and Men by John Steinbech Great book first time I read it was in highschool and it introduced me to Steinbech, It is hard to explain, there is something about his writings, there is a reason he is classic. Dictionary Yes the dictionary, I do read it for pleasure, I love words, and learning new words, it is great to keep learning, and it is fun at least to me to find something I never knew before.
