Do people really need mobile phones??

i think you do in my opinion. you need to have one just in case your tire is flat while being on the freeway and there are no phones around. you probably need it when you are out of your house and someone is calling you for an emergency and cant be contact if you dont have a cell.

i think so for me,cause everytime i go to work i always bring my cellphone.it is important to me because my son always calls me and it is very usefull when there is an emergency,you can call for help.

Yes, I need it during weekdays for work purposes and for my family to conatct me as I work in the field, not at my desk. But for weekend, I usually turn off my mobile as I am with my family and no work on weekend..
