Today the topic is inconsiderate people. You all know you have met and even faced off with a few, I find myself wondering where some of these people get it from. I mean is being inconsiderate a "learned" behavior, or is it simply in our DNA? I have read a few things that would point you more towards it being in our DNA, from what i have read things like personality, sense of humor, and even the food we like is all found in our DNA. So how much of our rude behavior is DNA and how much is learned? I have been asking this question for along time i have my theories and now i would love to hear yours.

I would think it is more of a learned behavior because if no one ever told you to say Thank you or please or that it is wrong to say or act in a manner that is inconsiderate then how would you know the difference. A person would think this is the way your susspose to act and behave and would have no regard for anyone else.

This is very true, but at the same time how do we explain those that werent taught the kind things in life at home, yet they turn out to be some of the most amazing human beings. Maybe the ability to learn such behaviors is what is in our DNA.

Maybe your right about the DNA. When it comes to being born with a consience or not. Maybe it's a bit of both.

well i can only tell u my best guess or philosophy on this subject since im not a Dr or the like.. anyways yes it is posible for it to be in someones DNA, however i think the acting on it (or rather not acting on consideration) is a learned thing! lets take for example, the foods we like are encoded into our DNA right, well that doesnt mean we cant eat other foods.. ive never heard of a possibility of being allergic to consideration lol. i think it really boils down to ppl just not caring about others, or perhaps its a mental problem, like a boarder line patient. but mental issues aside, i think its deffinately a learned habbit!

I am with you I am no doctor but I am leaning more toward the learned behavior because really if it was all DNA would some one have come along already and manipulated DNA to exclude rudess?..LOL sometimes I think things would be easier if we could do such a thing but at the same that is inviting all kinds of craziness and speculation as to how genuine the human emotion is.
