My son's first word was "Mama", quickly followed by "wawa" (water). What prompted your little one to talk?

my daughters first words were Ball, and after that she has been talking from 7 and a half months old. by the time she was 10 months she could carry on full conversations with people. but they say that is because she was raised with all adults around her.

my daughter's first word was "moo". We lived near a dairy farm and we passed the cows almost every day. As we drove by I would ask her what the cows say. Since "moo" is a on syllable word it was easy for her to learn. Her next word was "mama" followed by "dada". My son's first word was "mama" followed by "dada" and then "sissy" for his sister.
