whats better to get if you have f2p, 99 range or 99 strenght

i would personally say that 99 range is better because if i had ninty nine range then i would become a pure with one defence so i would have like 54 combat and then i would go pking and i would own all the people in the wildy. on the other hand if you had 99 strenght even though you would hit really high you wouldnt hit that high so often because then players will start to wear armour with higher defence.

strength would be better for f2p, range might be better for p2p...mage owns all for pures in p2p. watch some of the f2p pking videos on youtube.com and you will be amazed..people hitting 31s with 2h at edgeville with 99 str and still in free world. That is some craziness, and i think the lowest cb level you can be with 99 strength is 66...that is with 40 att and 99 str

You cannot KO with range as often as you can KO with strength. I'm 99 range and I can't KO as effectively as someone with 99 strength and at least 75 attack; that is if its a no arm fight. Armor on Range would probly be better if you tank it out.

I really cant player-kill at all, but whatever. I think 99 ranging would be better in members, stick to Strength man.

Personally 99 strength would be the better option if you do manage to have a good attack level as then you would be able to hit more accurately :). But if you dont have good attack i would get range as you can hit 10s or higher almost every shot even on rapid. :O But like someone said previously 99 mage would be the best option of all. (Ice Barrage, TeleBlock, God Spells, Tangle Spells, and other helpful options)

Not to be mean but it kinda sounds like you dont know how to pk. You dont just get a skill high and own with it. Theres more to pking then just having 99 range and thinking you can own someone. You have to practice and think about what you have to do. But to get to the point i do think 99 range would be better in f2p but im sure you could benefit more from 99 str.

of course strenght beacause max hit with f2p ranged is about 20 or less

I think 99 mage would be great for free to play, since it seems to me that the majority of pkers are melee. If I had to choose between range and strength for f2p, I would choose strength.
