Have you read this book called the 48 laws of power? It is pretty interesting. It is sort of like a modern day version of Machiavelli's "The Prince," in that it is about how to manipulate others and gain power. It is kind of tongue in cheeck but really entertaining and interesting.

It is not good to always be on guard. Sometime we have to relax and we need a safe place.

Afetr reading your post I did some research into it. It was interesting, and gave a few good insights into people and situations. I don't know if I would use a lot of the rules though. But some were practical. Thank you for introducing me to them. xx

I think it is best to be honest. But to learn of others manipulation is to be armed with a method of defense.

It is a very interesting book! I've read & used this book (48 Laws Of Power)as may preference in leadership studies, based on networking. do you said manipulate others and gain power? Well actually you are right, but in other terms it means motivating your fallower to do whats things good for them, in order to make it truly possible. Leadership is masterpiece, it is very important to consider you are your own master.
