Marcus Garvey taught us what is to be black when he said "My race is mine and I belong to it.It climbs with me and I shall climb with it.My pride is mine and I shall surly honour it.It is the height on which I daily sit.We as blacks need to loves ourself and be proud to be black.

I dispise when black people use the infamous "N" word amongst themselves. I think it is deplorable, offensive, and ignorant to use this word period. The "N" word has more than enough history and baggage attached to it as is. This word has NEVER been positive in anyway, shape, form, or fashion. One can never make such a disgusting, vulgar word positive. Two wrongs don't make a right!

I often hear that the blacks use the word in order to kill the power that whites have given it in American, however I find this to be untrue. Though we use it amongst ourselves often generally when a white person uses it, as blacks we get offended. I myself think that blacks and whites alike need to erase such a word. But in an ideal world, there is no racism. God willing, and ideal world is just around the corner. God Bless.
