The best game to play in Las Vegas if you want to win money.

I've talked to a lot of people about this and it seems that video poker has the best odds of winning and ensuring that you come out ahead during your Las Vegas trip. Apparently the secret is to keep playing for long enough to let the odds play out in your favor. Machines will pay out a Royal Flush eventually and that means two things. You have to have enough money to keep you going while you wait for the 'big' hit and you have to play all the coins to make it pay-off. So every spin is most likely costing you $5.00. It seems like a lot at first as you spin and spin hour after hour waiting for the big one to hit. Don't forget however, that there are many smaller wins along the way that will keep you going. Also, it can be a good idea to jump on to a machine that someone else has played for a long time without hitting the royal flush. It might mean you will have to wait much less time for the payoff.

As far as I know all electronic machines are completely random. One machine can pay out 10 times, and the one beside it 0. They say the best odds are Blackjack and Craps. Craps only if you play the come line, and the pass line. Myself I prefer the table games, because even if I'm not winning I like the social aspect of it compared to sitting by myself staring at screen.

Yes that is true. The best odds in the casino are often said to be Blackjack. But many people don't like to play with others around who don't like the way they play. At least with a machine you can do what you want.

This last time I went, I actually played Blackjack on the machine, now I don't know what the odds are on them, but you can play quite a while for your money, actually both me and my friend won on them, they do rack up points differently than we thought though. We were suppose to accumulate 4 points on slot (at Planet Hollywood) to get our $15 bonus, we ran through way more than $40 to get our 4 points, didn't really count, but it seems like $80, but since we are winning, it doesn't make any difference. Blackjack only give you decent odd if you know the basic strategy, even that, the house still has a slight advantage, if you don't play by the basic strategy, you are lucky if you break even unless you are really lucky.

I've never heard that about the royal flush but I do agree they video poker machines seem to last the longest. I can sit at one of those that is a penny machine and sit there for 2 hours on $10. Slot machines are tough to say and they rarely hit it big. The best odds I hear are on the big wheel with money on it. The problem is how much are you willing to put down to win. I'll be heading to Vegas this summer and I'll keep this in mind and maybe I'll walk away with quite a bit.

Win or lose, Vegas can be a lot of fun. Just be sure to allow just so much a day for gambling and then call it a day and enjoy the sights.
