What is the strangest pet you have ever had?

I've heard of some pretty strange ones.
Like boa constrictors. Some people have pigs for pets.
I once saw a mongoose on a leash.
Some people even have spiders for pets. But I have to admit, I have never seen a spider on a leash.
What is the strangest pet you ever had and why?

I have not had many pets except dogs and cats when I was small. But one of my friends had a porcupine and we all loved it. It would make sure to keep its quills down so as to make sure that we can pet it without getting hurt. He like to get his ears scratched.

I never would have guessed porcupine. I have heard of skunk pets before. Believe it or not.
