I got my little ones hair cut today!

Awww. I think my son was around 18 months when he got his first hair cut. He was so shy and nervous, but he sat there calmly for that sucker.

my baby is five months now, so i have to wait for at least seven months to haircut. as here in the philippines,the child has to be one year old, to have his first hair-cut.

Nah, my oldest son is real opposite to my youngest when i bring them to barbershop to have their first hair cut.My oldest was crying when he does it but my youngest was so cool and behave well.

A lot of Filipinos cut their baby's hair when they turned one. It is rooted in a supertitious belief that hairs won't grow back if cut at an earlier time. But some parents cut it early if the hairs are too thick.

hehe my son was about a year and a half before i gave him his first trim. It was SOOO hard because he had thease beautiful blond curles! But he did so well, i planted him in his highchair, and snipped at them while he had a treat. He did very well, but i cried, cutting off all his curls.. In any event they grew back and i had to wack them off again!
