Anyone have a cockroach, flea, or ant problem? Here's a great solution! Borax!Seriously!Borax is a naturally occurring salt, which, when it gets on these bugs, tends to dehydrate them, and kills them. You can generally find it in the laundry section of the supermarket. If you've got carpet, sprinkle it onto every inch of carpet, including moving furniture if you have a severe problem, and rub it into the carpet with a broom. Once it's rubbed into the carpet, it's safe for pets, and humans. Repeat in a couple of weeks if necessary. For non-carpeted areas, you can just sprinkle it very very finely under the fridge, or along edges, etc. Basically, you don't want it to be in a mound, as bugs don't tend to walk on these mounds, but instead will walk around them. You want them to walk through it so their legs get covered by the borax! It can take a few days for the dehydration to kill these bugs, but they won't be back! Give it a whirl!

Borax is not available out here. Is it similiar to Boric Acid. Thanks anyway.
