Can you manage to be a student and work at the same time?

Rcently i also to do them together at the same time ,because i will graduate in july ,2007 ,but at the same time i want to ready for the exam of the entrance of master .But there is a sentence "put all the eggs in one basket " . And therer is another sntence in our country "have read million books and then go out for million miters " ,it is meaning after learn the technology we should practice them ,so i just changed my mind to : study for a period and then reback to school to study again and at the same i'll make it clear to study what and to settle the problem better which i have met in the working time or add the knowledge which i need .

I am not trying to discourage you. Whether you can manage it well all depends on yourself. The type of work and role you are in plays a part too. I have worked full-time and study part-time to get my degree. It was really tough especially when both the office and study demand your attention, not taking into consideration other committments which you may have. Personal committments are often sacrificed. Hope you get an understanding boss as mine - he allows me to go off on weekends or do my assignments during office hours when I needed the extra time to complete the assignments. Good Luck to you.

Its not easy to work and study at the same time. U need immense focus for handling the two of them. I also am planning to do both of them side by side once i finish my grads and land up job. I will be pursuing mba thru correspondance while i m working. I knw it will not be easy, but nevertheless, i will definately try it out. All the best to u too...

yeha it depends on how ou allocate the time. Time may not be the big issue if u manage it well, but the problem of working and studying at the same time is your work may actuall make you exhausted, and do not have the energy and motivation to study anymore, ans you will give excuse to yourself like,, I am tired today because of work today,, i will study tomorrow........ Try your best and set a goal to yourself and manage your time well, then you will get over it .

Time management is not easy, especially when you have to work late and continue to study part-time. When you work late, that doesn't mean you have enough money to pay for your study, you have to think the stress and energy from your work. If you have a choice, concentrate on your study and think about borrowing money from realatives, parents or siblings. Of course once you borrow, you have to manage your money to spend on study and remember to pay back. if you need to work, try getting one that does not need to work late and least stress possible - need not to bring back work to do mentally. i did manage to be a student and work in the same time, but i tell you that is very tiering, but you know well if you will manage this two things. good luck
