How many other women do this?

I always forget my husband and I's anniversary! It is usually the man that forgets but not in my case. We've been married for 6 years on the 5th of March. And every single year (except this one) I have forgotten about it. I never forgot mine and my ex's, so why can't I remember ours? I think it's the month....I don't have any other dates to remember in March except for my cousin's birthday so it makes it hard to remember. Plus I have 5 children, and sometimes I can't even remember my own birthday because I have to remember all their things..... Are there any other women out there that have this problem or am I the only one??

Talk about mental telepathy! I was going to start a discussion about this, as this year I forgot about our wedding anniversary. I had been looking forward to it since before Christmas and my mind just went blank. I usually accuse my husband of forgetting about birthdays etc and now I am afraid to even mention it to him as he will laugh and tell me I spend too much time on myLot. I never forget birthdays or any other occasions but the 22nd Feb (our 38th wedding anniversary) just came and went and I am disgusted with myself for forgetting it. I might mention it to him when he comes home from work, if I think of it, and see will he take me out to dinner...lol.

Oh, I'm so sorry that you forgot yours :-( Mine is tomorrow and I bought a card, lol...but that's it. I don't know what else to get him. I hope he don't get me anything...I think we ought to just keep it simple. This is the first year I've remembered, lol. Thanks for the response!

Don't take it so hard, lol.. my parents never remember mine and my brothers birthday and we know that they love us and give us gifts whenever they find something cool they think that we would like as opposed to on the birthdays. And for me and my husband, we are the same way. We don't feel a need to celebrate every year the 16th of august because it's our anniversary, but if we want to celebrate another date, or that date we do. It's just a date. But all couples are different.

A very happy anniversary to you! I am the one in my family who remembers all the birthdays and such. I call my Dad and remind him of my siblings birthdays every year. When I want to be a real brat, I will call him and remind him of his own birthday! My husband plays it safe. Right after his birthday he starts talking about our anniversary and what should we do for it. Then he sort of lets me plan it and let him know what we are going to do. That way he doesn't actually have to remember all by himself.

My husband and I have 4 young children, so we are REALLY busy. Last year we didn't remember our anniversary until 2 months later, and that was only because my grandmother asked us how many years we had been married (which is 10 years). We don't get upset with each other about those things, because we show love to each other everyday. Of course it would be nice to spend some "alone" time together once in a while, but I don't see that happening for at least 5 more years. That's life!

ME!! I have this problem too!! This year my husband was TDY (he is in the miliraty) and he called to tell me he sent me a package of goodies just for me, and I was like you don't need to waste your money getting me anything and he just laughed and said he wanted too. So when the package came I caleld hima dnhe was like it is for our anniversary...I couldn't believe I forgot!! I guess because it isn't abirthday or something I just don't remember it.
