War on Iran?

Will there be a war on Iran in the near future? Personally, I think such an attack will spell disaster for decades to come. On the other hand I don't think Israel would be able to accept a nuclear hostile Iran on its doorstep. Perhaps Israel will try to attempt a blitz attack of the Iranian nuclear installations which will be tricky enough. I do hope the US won't have to get involved directly. What are your thoughts?

If Iran does what many believe they will do, which is create nuclear weapons and attack other nations, then we will see a war with Iran. As for the US involvement, I would hate to make the decision of when, if, or how we get involved. If we don't, the bulk of world will criticize for the lack of action; if we get involved too soon, or an unliked way, then that becomes a problem also. Kind of loose-loose in some ways.

Good post, that is exactly what I think will happen. The entire world will want something done, but they will rely on the US to do it, then criticize anything we do. Its stupid...

As usual, Europe talks and gets nowhere and in the end it's usually the English-speaking nations who are called upon to act and get criticised for doing so afterwards. To have a Iran regime like this one armed with nuclear weapons is a scenario that no one wants, that's for sure.
