Maybe I should start wearing my sunglasses to browse the net

Does this irk anyone else as much as it irks me? I'm talking about the websites and their owners who seem to aim to blind their visitors. I'm talking about the animated flashing backgrounds with bright red or fuschia text, the bright colored background colors with an equally bright and clashing font color. The sites with dark backgrounds and bright neon colors that make you start squinting after a few minutes of trying to read the text, or my personl "favorite", the sites that think that if they have a pale lavender color background (or something like that) they have to choose a font color that is only a tad lighter or darker. The colors are so close you have to squint in order to make out what it says. Have mercy on my eyes please!

i have a pair of sunglasses that i keep on my computer desk and when i find that the screen is starting to hurt my eyes i wear them. i'm always going to answer the door with them pushed on the top of my head and forget that people must think i'm a nut wearing sunglasses in the house but it really helps cut the glare!

Well I already where my shades everywhere I go and forget to take them off when I'm at work and I wear them at night too. Why not in the house too? No one will think me any weirder. Sad though that people cannot be arsed to actually think about the color combinations they're inflicting on their viewers.
