motorola l6 help please!

Hi gang , I have just been given a motorola L6 for my birthday and im happy with it but can anyone tell me why I cant get it to connect to the internet?
I can work everything else but id love to be able to download ringtones and pics of my kids but it just aint happening.
I do have a usb lead and my pc acknowledges that theres new hardware but thats all! I didnt get any software disc with it and the motorola website wasnt much use. Can any of you mobile masters help me out? PLEASE?

My little friend had the same kind of mobile. And when she purchased it, it's without any software disc for computer downloading. If you already visit their site and do some researching, maybe it's just without a software. So what we're doing is I'm downloading and uploading pictures and videos in my Nokia 6680 and send it to her through bluetooth.
