Do You Rate Discussions/Responds?

You have just read a discussion/Respond, you find that the other party had taken trouble to understand and give a good respond or have create a good subject. Now do you rate this article, a (+) rating or just move on. Being a myLot member, I always try to rate good subjects with a (+) rating. I strongly feel that we should get into a habit to rate (+) for a good subject. If I find one that is rather, inappropriate, I do not give a (-) rate. I just do not rate.

Rating is not that crucial. Best response makes you more money. So you know what to do. :-) Regards, Edmund Ng http://www.internet-empire.com http://www.purchaseresume.com

I usually give postive remarks & rate positively.. It is too harsh to give negative ratings..

I rate everybody who responds to my discussions with a plus and I also post a comment after their response to let them know that I have read it. I never give a minus unless I am sure that the reponse has been copied. If somebody responds with just one word, the I don't give a minus as they might not know much English, I just move on to the next response. I also rate the topics that I respond to as we are all here to help each other.

Hi Alexandria, A very good habit of commenting every good respond. I only hope that, this good habit of yours will be adopted by all mylot members and make this site a great one. Thank you for sharing similar thoughts.

I also only rate on the positive side. If I don't like it I won't give them a negative. I think it's important to rate people and the discussions. I also rate everybody that answers my discussions and take the time to read what they have also written and reply back. I think it keeps everything going and it's appropriate to let people know you care about they have written.

I can tell you a kind personand don't want to hurt anyones feeling here, but you will probably experience some spammers as you go along here. They are the ones that will respond to your discussions with total nonsense, don't feel bad rating spammers with a (-).I am sure Mylot would rather you did.Mylot doesn't want the spammers here,I' sure. But you are right to rate your discussions,it shows you appreciate responders & the time they take to respond to your discussion.Have a great time here at Mylot, it is a very nice place to meet & talk to people from all over the world! :)

Thank you for responding. I think I have been battered enough in life and I feel a little more from (-) rating will not really damage my feelings. You are right about weeding out spanners!!!

I started myLot a few days ago and have not rated any discussions or responds. I agree that it is good to rate as that shows you care about others feedback and most likely friendship will continue. Now, I will start to rate...

Hi Kelvin, It is nice to see that you value the rating and long term relationship. Good decision. Cheers
