What are the negative effects of smoking?

I have a 17 yr. old cousin who's starting to smoke probably with the influence of her friends. I know its dangerous to our health. Id like to know the bad effects it causes to our body so I could convince her more to stop smoking as early as now. I've tried to convince her but when she's with her friends, she's starting to smoke again. Any advice?
