Has anyone seen the movie Blood Vows (the story of a Mafia wife) with Joe Penny and Melissa Gilbert? This is a great story and it really makes you think. Mafia families have an inner relationship and are people just like the rest of us. While the organized crime part is a difficult concept, is it really all that different from corporate take-overs, shady business deals, political campaigns, or other dishonest practices that take place on a daily basis in the world that functions outside of the Mafia? As the mother in the film says: "Why don't you go after rapists and muggers?" I guess, in the end, it is all a point of view. Joe Penny was awesome in this role.
