Can you tell me what state you live in and how much experience you have and I can answer you question better.Horses are cheaper in some areas. It will also depend on your level of horsemanship.Raydene

It can vary from $500-1000 depending on the age, breed, and color. I wish I had a nice horse.

it all depends on where you live, how experienced you are and what you want the horse for. The better broke a horse is, the more you will pay for it. If you are looking for one just to ride, check into stables around where you live, sometimes they have horses they want to have retire and would be good for the weekend rider. You can usually pick them up much cheaper than normal, and they are well broke. And since I rescue horses, I have to say check into any horse rescues around you :) Check out petfinders.org and see if there are any around you. The great thing about rescues is they won't hide any vices, they want you to know exactly what you are getting into and find a forever home for the horse. Good luck!
