What is a Traditional Upset Tummy Cure for You?

I find it fascinating what helps people feel better around the world. For example, if I´m ill, I just want a cup of hot lemonade or ginger ale. Here in Guatemala, my husband wants Alka Seltzer and lime juice in a bottle of mineral water! And I had a friend from Korea who would eat super spicy soup when she felt lousy. What do you use to cure your stomach problems and where do you live?

I live in Canada and have tried many different remedies for an upset stomach. For years it was ENO, which was a fizzy drink that makes you burp. Now however, I prefer Ginger Ale. It really seems to work well. Ginger pills are a common remedy for air and sea sickness, so I guess that's where the ginger ale cure comes from.

It doesn't taste that great but what has worked for me is Pepto Bismol. Thanks for reminding me. I really really have to get some the next time I go to the store. It helps for all digestive problems, or so it says, so I hate to be without it. Thanks for reminding me. I live in the good old U.S.A.
