monster in law.

I have been with my boyfriend for 5 years now. I consider his mother my mother-in-law. We get along great! She claims me as one of her own. Do you wanna know the funny part though? My boyfriend is 21 years older than me!!! But that is ok. I asked her one day if our age difference bothered her because she was talking about one of her nephews dating an older woman. When I asked, she just kind of looked at me funny and was like "Well, I didn't even think about you two. No, it doesn't bother me at all. I don't even think about your ages." That made me feel really good. She has never made me feel left out or anything like that. And I enjoy being in her company, we always manage to have a good time.

I'm actually pretty lucky. I get along great with my boyfriend's mother. It's been 7 years of smooth sailing. She actually took to me right away - and when I'm right, she actually takes my side in an arguement. Gotta love that (he hates it).

she is my second mother...you know, my husband and i have been together for 9 years now and i did not have a single problem with his mom. i grew up without the guidance of a mother 'coz she was working abroad when i was still 2 years old and just retired last year, so i was so eager to have someone to have as a mom. luckily, when i met my husband's mother, when we were still boyfriend and girlfriend, she was so great to me and very accommodating. until now, we have a good mutual relationship.

Well my first mother in law was alful. She had to have something going on in her life all the time, to keep her son running. I told her that we was going to start trying to have a baby. She pitched a fit. She finally talked my x into waiting a little while longer. My now Mother-in-law is wonderful. She is a very special lady. She lives in Washington State and we live in South Carolina, but we talk on the phone all the time. We also take turns visiting. My kids think she is the coolest. My oldest son is now engaged and I am going to try to be the type of mother-in-law thay mine is to me.

my bf's mom is like my mom. My boyfriend have been together for 4years now. It's such a nice feeling because we both like the same things. We go shopping together. I would often cook at their place and they really like it a lot when I cook. Though there is that barrier between the two of you and I don't know why. maybe because she's your mother's boyfriend.
