I just want to know how you feel about long distance relationship? Do you think that it would work? Are you up for it? Most of my friends are in that kind of arrangement and I am really finding it so hard based on the stories they make... how about you? how do you feel about it?

i had a long distance relationship before. it needs a lot of sacrifice, patience and most importantly TRUST! from my experience it's one great love but the problem is we are miles away! we communicate through the net and sometimes he calls me on my phone, you could still feel the intimacy and the sincerity of the person, even if he's far away! you will start to miss him and long for the person and that's the hardest part. our relationship lasted for 6 months, things did'nt work out and from that span of time i can't stand to love someone far from me.

I definitely how you feel. The saddest part is that the bond that both of you fought just went to waste. How i wish you could finally see someone and that your relationship would last. wishing you all the luck life could offer.

I think long distance relationship won't work for me. and I don't even want to try it. But I'm afraid that it's going to happen to me soon because my boyfriend is showing interest in working abroad for greener pastures. Right now I'm kind of cool when we talk about it because it's not happening yet, but I don't really know what to do when that time comes. Since, I don't want us to be separated, I think, I'll do my best to also get a job there and be with him.

Now I know how much your boyfriend means so much to you. I just hope that your relationship will flourish. hehehe! As for me, I tend to keep myself so busy. For the first week that he left I kept on crying. He definitely took my laugh and smile with him. Later on I discovered it wasn't so bad at all. I'm trying my best to get a job in Singapore so we could be together.

i think it can work if the couple is commtted and the reason for the distance also matters. if the contact is regular then it should not be a problem. for such a relationif the duration of separation is fixed then it is easier, if it is for in indefinite time, then it can be difficult. but on the whole it is possible:)
