$500 from Yahoo

i have sent email by yahoo.com that said that i have won $500, but when i want to take my prize, it say that i have to join as premium game member and pay for $8.75 is there anyone have got this kind of mail to or has experience, is this true or not???

It smell a scam straightaway even if you have a blocked nose. Be careful about what you received by email. Chances is that 1 in a 100 will fall prey to these scammers.

i think it's spam,i have receive this mail too n delete it,if you pointer the link they attached n actived your status bar,you will see strange link address on status bar,so don't u ever response it just ignored n delete it.

that's a scam email my friend. It comes in all forms and sizes. they just take your $8.75 and poof. If you really won dont' you think they can deduct the $8.75 from your prize? Anyways, it's a scam.

It is a scam, report the spam to yahoo by selecting the email and pushing the spam button. Or you can forward the message with the full header to abuse@yahoo.com have a nice day Pablo

That is a rip-off. You will win nothing. It is spam. If they get 100 people to send $8.75, they will make $875.00 and you will get nothing. Don't believe anything where you have to pay before you win. Tell them to send the $500 first and then you will send $8.75. See what happens then. Nothing, that's what.
