Big Problem

Today i was working On internet. Suddenly my system gave me one warning message indicating that my system is shutdown in 1 minute and their is timer also running. Warning also indicating that someone shutdown your (RPC) Remote procedure call unexpectedly. I do no know about these. Please tell me about these and how can i stop these in future?

that is a virus which is causing your computer to shut down, use a good firewall and antivirus to prevent yourself.

Okay I'll get your point now. I have suffered from the same problem you are suffering right now and it because of the older version of service pack or because you're using the older version of windows. Try to update your windows version or update your service pack in service pack III. I hope that after upgrading the new version of service pack your windows will surely going to run smoothly and more fast as compare to now. Have a very good day. Happy earnings!

Yes i too used to get the same type of problem. I reinstalled my OS...with SP2..its working fine now.

Hi friend the same problem i have faced in past and it comes due to worm attack on the pc u do one thing either download a update from microsoft site or use macafee antivirus. since i was getting error code 128 that is lasas.exe cause an eror and ur system will bshut down in 1 min pleas close ur unsaved aplications.

before you do reformat your system.. try to boot up in safe mode and if you can get it into safe mode withour shutting down then open up msconfig in the run command and then try to remove the checks from the startup menu. hop this helps
