Would it be nice to ask the employees there about the company's flaws? Because I overheard one of them planning to resign.

I would like to tell that first impression is the last impression. Please be polite to everybody and first of all study the systme i.e. how people intract with each other, inter office communication, the hierarchy and how friendly the overall environment is? Good bless you.

In my experience people don't tend to hold back with their moans about work. I am sure you will soon hear all about the negative aspects of the company and probably not many good things. I think for your sake it will be better to stay positive.

I don't think it's a pretty good idea to start your first day in the company with asking it's flaws, am afraid it could raise some of the old employees' eyebrows there. I suggest you better be polite on your first day and try to familiarize how things there happen, their management system, their basic house rules, and how your co-employees act. Don't worry too much about the company's flaws, you will know them in due time. Godbless!
