I am sure we have all seen truck drivers at the truck stops with a wad of cash. Seems impressive, right? But do they really make good money? Hmm, let me know what you think. I think it's an interesting sterotype to discuss. Hope to hear from ya.

I hate to burst your bubble. If truck drivers make good money, we will not have 2 categories of workers called "blue-collar" and "white-collar". You do know that truck drivers are placed in the demeaning blue-collar workers category right? :P

lol, Oh yes I know far too well. I am married to a truck driver so I know all too well. But so many people are misconceived when it comes to truck drivers. I was once one of them until I married one.

Yes, I've heard that they do make good money. I once had to have my car towed off the highway and the guy driving the tow truck told me that he was going to go back to truck driving soon because the money was so much better. I forget how much he told me he made, but I remember it was more than I do--and I have a BA. You just have to really love to drive is all.

There is some money in trucking, not as much as most drivers would like. You have local driving and long haul driving. You could choose to own your own truck in which case, most of them go long haul or otr. There is alot involved in trucking.
