I hope some of you are familiar with Jeff Foxworthy's "Here's your sign" series otherwise this might not sound so funny. I found myself in one of those situations the other day. Here's the story. I stopped at the gas station and pumped $21.00 into my van. At the same time a father and son were pumping on the other side. I paid for mine first while they stood in line right behind me. When I went back out, my van wouldn't start. Apparently they thought they could help some how. Their first question seemed silly enough..."What's wrong?" I thought duh, it won't start. It was their second question that really floored me though... "Is it out of gas?".....Here's your sign,

LOL!!! I bought my husband the Blue Collar Comedy Tour DVD for Christmas this year because he loves all those guys. He always thought Larry the Cable Guys was the best until he heard Bill Engvall do "Here's Your Sign". This is one of my favorites,"There was a trucker that got his trailer stuck under a bridge on the highway and traffic was stopped. I got out of the car to wait with the trucker for the cops to come. When the cop got there he looked at the trailer wedge in the bridge then looked at the trucker and said, "You get your truck stuck?" The trucker without missing a beat said "Nope, I was delivering this here overpass and I ran out of gas." Here's your sign!

That's pretty funny! The other day at the grocery store my daughter was wearing her school uniform (I picked her up at school and we went right to the store). We ran into a friend who commented on how cute she looked in her uniform. Then the friend asked "Did she have off from school today?"

OK one more for the funny ones. We were driving to the local walmart in a wind storm and the 2 on the gas station sign had blown off so super was .75. I ask my friend to pull in because I want to have some fun with the clerk I knew ther. So I went in and asked when did the price drop so low on preium. She said it has been coming down for a while now. I said yea but your sign says 75 cents for perium. No it doesn't..Yes it does I'll show you. So we went out side and she looked at the sign and said you know some days I really hate you. To which I replied not as much as your going to hate getting a two up there in this wind.:) To that she kicked me in my Butt and my other friend and her laughed at me.:)

Now I feel bad, if you'd posted this 5 minutes sooner you would have gotten best response. I was trying to catch up on my discussions and thought this one was done. Thanks for sharing though.

Thanks for the laugh. I needed it today. I hate it when people ask stupid question. You know what I mean. When you call and ask is John there and the person who answers say yes do you want to talk to them. I want to say no just called to see if they were there.lol.

Thanks for a good laugh. Yes, I really like Jeff Foxworthy. He has brought many a laugh to our household. He tends to make us laugh at ourselves and I think that is very healthy. It's a proven fact that laughter is good for both the body and mind.

RLOL. I had one of those yesterday. I walked up and realized that the perscription counter at my grocery store was closed. The door was closed, all of the windows on the counters were closed, lights off, the sign was big saying what time would they be back tomorrow and everything. As I was turning around this lady walked right up to the door banged on it and said where are they, are they closed? ...Here's your sign....I wanted to ask her what her first clue was

LOL!!! This same type of thing happened to my best friend and I the other night. We went to the store to grab some more food for the cook out we were having, it was about 8pm. We walked up to the automatic doors, when they didn't open we stood there for a minute thinking what the heck. Then for no good reason my friend knocked on the door, the clerk came up pointed to the sign on the door that said just a clear as could be "These doors close at 7:30pm please use the main entrance" We were so embarrassed that we couldn't stop laughing.

Ok had to add this one. My friend was driving me to pay my rent and we passed a hardward store. They had one of those mobile signs out front and it read "$25,000 for life now hiring." No period after the word life. So I coment on the sign to my friend and said this does that mean in twenty years when I am manager of the store I will still be making 25K. Her response: Hell you ain't worth that much now what makes you think you'll BE worth 25K in ten years more like 10K and that is only if you shape up. We both had a good laugh.
