Great community.. yet discussions failing to take fresh strides...

Joining this like minded race of people I hoped of a gathering with whom I could have serious discussions .But to my surmise discussions quite often do not rise to my expectations .May be I am desirous of too much .

I think it entirely depends on the topic and whether or not the original poster lays out in detail the questions they hope to have answered. Some discussions are vague or left very open to interpretation so it is easy for people to leave a random response without any real thought or substance just to get another penny or two for their participation.
