Compromise on eating habits.A diabetic need not starve to lead a healthy life . Strict regimen need not be followed. However impose some controls on your food habits. High calorie foods and drinks should be avoided.Eat quite a lot of leafy vegetables.Meat eaters should not indulge themselves in their favorite form of food more than once daily.Eat ,drink and be merry... but to self imposed limits .
