What are the best digital cameras to use for taking self-portraits? I need one that will give good quality photos but is also easy to use for taking pictures of yourself (meaning one where you don't have to go over and reset the timer after each picture). Are there any good digital cameras where you can set the timer and it will take several pictures in a row instead of one at a time?

My grandfather is a didigital photogropher. I think it's much better to do one at a time - images come cleaner.

Most cameras have an option to hold the shutter down and it will take multiple pictures. I have accomplished this task with software linked up to my Canon Rebel XT, you can set the intrevals (1 second, 1 minute, 1 hour), etc. However, if it is good self portraits you are after. I recommend a good SLR camera such as the Canon Rebel XT and a good Flash unit. I use the 430EX ($299) and attach it to my Rebel XT ($699), the lens I use for most portaits is either the Canon 50mm 1.8 ($99) or the Canon 24-105L ($1299). Hope this helps!
