Working From Home

I have been trying to work from home for close to seven years now and it gets harder and harder with each year. At first, the main problem was finding a legitimate company or ad that actually wanted people to work for them, but now it's about weeding through the gazillion false advertisers that only want your money. It's getting overwhelming. I have found some great leads but most require bachelor degrees in the given subject and I'm still in college. My main itch is that regular people out there are giving into the schemes and actually selling materials to other regular people as a way to profit when actually it is a scheme. I wish the employers who offer virtual positions at their companies would make the effort to become less elusive so people who want to work from home could pick them out of the crowd more easily!

Hello & welcome to mylot belladonna474. It is hard to find some decent paying sites with so much out there to choose from. You learn to read the fine print carefully after finding out how many of the work at home opportunity depends on you making some kind of purchase. I learned a lot thru trial & error but it should get easier to start noticing the tactics, especially after you've been enlightened by a few. lol Depending upon your interests, I'm sure the community here at mylot will help guide you away from the losers and help you find something suited to your skills & goals. :)

Maybe you should start your own business. I work for myself doing tarot readings from several different platforms, and have written copy for a few websites along with writing articles for places that pay for them. It is impossible to rely on just one thing for online money. You have to be pretty diversified but that is where your working for yourself instead of being hired for a gig, pays off. You only keep those time commitments as long as they make sense. If you work for someone else you are locked in to what they expect of your time. When working for yourself you can adjust your time according to what area is busier than the rest!
