Wal-mart fires employee for snooping

Wal-mart - Walm-mart

I just read an article on CNN about Wal-mart firing an employee for recording conversations between Wal-mart public relations and a reporter from the New York Times. They have no idea why this employee even recorded the conversations. Looks like someone is always trying to dig up some dirt on Wal-mart. Maybe they should start treating their employees better.

wow i'm sorry to hear that the wal-mart you work for is so horrible, my sister has worked for wal-mart for a little over a year and she loves it she just got put into the managers class and will be making close to 20 an hour before that she was working the floor and making 10 bucks an hour. she claims they are one of the best places to work, maybe its just the walmart she works at, they even got bonus's this year because their store was doing so well and it wasnt just the managers either it was cashiers and stock people too

I've never worked for Wal-mart! I've known a few people that worked there and were treated badly! I'm sure not all the Wal-mart stores are bad.

Yes they should. As an employee there for 4 years I know just how they treat people. And I am not just saying this because of one bad store with a few bad eggs. I have worked in a couple of Walmarts and it's all the same. Do you know they do not even allow cameras in the store at all? One time there was some murder that happened in my home town and they found out that the person who committed the crime bought their axe or rope or whatever they got at Walmart. Walmart refused to allow any cameras in the store. Instead, they got shots from Target and a manager was interviews there. But I do know even regular snap cameras are not allowed in the store either for ANY reason at all.... I wonder what they're hiding. :P

I have known a few Wal-mart employees and they were treated badly. Not only was their health insurance bad but their pay. Wal-mart seems to have a big turn over rate when it comes to employees. I didn't know that about the cameras.
