thank you for bringing back nice memories for me , I am a pensioner now and yes the tooth fairy used to bring me money , I also did it with my sons now aged 4,41, and 26 and they now do it with their children , Our dentist gives them the teeth home with them and they put them under their pillow at night , I always thought this such a lovely thing to do xx

hahaha!i actaully had my first tooth lose when i was 6 i think and so my mom told me that i should put it under my pillow and the toothfairy will come to get it,in return the fairy is going to give me money.the next day i woke up the tooth is still there, when i asked my mom what happened she actually just smiled at me,and that's the time i decided to stop believing to that.maybe my mom just do that for me not to be afraid of another tooth loss.

My dad was the toothfairy as well and yes i believed. I can remember having to go to the dentist the dentist refused to look in my mouth i was 4 and had bitten him on the previous occasion lol. anyway this time he decided i would have to be gassed i can still remember the panic when i was gassed it was horrid! then all i can remember is the fairies, it was like being in the biggest fairy tale and all i spoke of for weeks were my friends the fairies. I think i used to get a tiny sixpence it was silver, i pretended to be asleep one night and knew then it wasn't the fairies but my dad but never told i think i was then about 6.

i used to believe, i used to get like a dollar, well my teeth stopped falling out and i still believed, but now i'm older and i know better, my son just had his first tooth fall out and we gave him 5 dollars. my husband wants to give his kids everything he didn't get and he never received much, if his parents gave him anything for his teeth it wasn't more then 50 cents.
