are there many women with doctorate in the USA?

Where are you from? Yes, many women have higher education in the USA. I have an MS and did not get my doctorate because I got tired of school. You are young so go for the doctorate and don't listen to people that obviously are jealous. Good Luck.

there are lots of female doctors in the usa.an if you want to be a doctor than go for it.dont let anyone stop you from getting your degree.me myself i only go an see female doctors.they understand more about the women body then a male doctor .an no! you are not out of your wits.

Don't worry. It's common here in the U.S. to find medical doctors and PhD's. My sister is a medical doctor in Ohio. My other sister lives here with me in Philadelphia and she's a PhD. I am going to pursue a doctorate myself this coming summer. You can do it! Are you not an American? I am a Filipino and I'm here in the U.S. working as a teacher. There are lots of possibilities. Whne you say doctorate are you referring to a phd? Or are you referring to a degree in medicine? There are lot of women in the US with phds and medical degrees. Who ever said that it is not good for girls is a fool. Sorry if that was some one close to you. But that is old age thinking. I have so many friends (girls) who have their phd or are in the process of it. And you will be better off for it. Go get it!
