Child support from married couples to grandparents

I am going through crazy drama right now. I have been married for 15 years, my daughter is my husband and my biological child. Ok, we once went through a hardship and asked my mother is she could keep our daughter until we got on our feet or at least a little more established. Given three months, my mother had acquired custody, approval for child support and other unnecessary stuff. It wasn't like we left our child forever. So we are still going through, our daughter is now 16. We went through court to get her back at age 11 and was denied custody because she was in a "more stable environment". Even through all this, we support our daughter financially, physically, emotionally, over and above what we give for child support. Where is the justice in this case?

At the age most courts get input from the child. Maybe your child feels more secure at grandma's. I'm not saying you guys are bad parents or anything. So please don't take my comment that way. You seem to be doing what you should be doing when your child lives with someone else. You said you are still going through the tuff times. If a court know that, they will always keep the child in the most stable place.
